John Mayhall land documents, 1822-1840.

This group contains two documents recording the transfer of land in Franklin County, Kentucky, to and from John Mayhall. The older document, written in New Orleans in 1822, records the sale of a parcel of land to Mayhall by Thomas Hughes. The later document (1840) concerns the purchase of land by Mayhall from Mary, James, and John Evans.
